Wheaton Chamber Women in Business hosts “Reset for Success” with virtual conference and in-person trade show

WHEATON — The Women in Business Committee of the Wheaton Chamber of Commerce is hosting “Reset for Success: Women in Business Expo 2022” from 12:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on March 18. This co-ed event will feature a virtual conference with e-learning followed by an in-person trade show, happy hour, and “fashion walk.” Attendees can choose to attend both events, the virtual conference or just happy hour.

Women in Business Expo Task Force Chair Christina Carrington Riley of CCR Creatives has been working on the project since 2021 when, due to pandemic restrictions, the committee postponed the event to 2022. “We’re glad we waited until this year,” she said. . “Whether you’re an employee or an entrepreneur, working from home, in the office, or thinking about starting your own business, this event has something for everyone.”

The blended event will focus on virtual learning with keynote speaker Catherine Johns introducing “What They Want Most From You Is…YOU”. Johns is a former WLS radio host turned coach and speaking professional who focuses on women in business. After the keynote, attendees can choose one of three speakers in each area:

The virtual conference will be followed by a happy hour starting at 4 p.m. at Klein Creek Golf Club, 1N333 Pleasant Hill Road, Winfield. Business exhibit booths are always available. A “fashion walk” will include new trends in work-from-home and office fashion.
