Want a virtual assistant job? Freelancers get free training at Mabalacat
The Mabalacat City Government has started training freelancers in the city through the first Virtual Assistant Workshop Program held at Mabalacat City College.
The MCG Management Information System Office, in partnership with the Department of Information and Communications Technology and the specialist training organization XCEL HUB, recently organized a free basic virtual assistant training program for the independent community.
About 50 freelancers participated in the Data Management and Analytics workshop facilitated by XCEL Hub representative Roxanne Lineses, which aims to provide additional knowledge on best practices and improve their skills.
Basic navigation of virtual assistant tools and resume writing were also included in the training program to give a holistic approach and prepare participants to pursue jobs online.
The city government seeks to elevate the professional development of the city’s freelance community and expand their options for online job opportunities.
The schedule for the next batch of virtual assistant training program will be announced via Mabalacat City News.
