Three-Part ITB India Concludes Virtual Event

MUMBAI, April 7, 2022: Under the theme of “Connect to the Indian travel market”the 3 in 1 ITB India, MICE Show India and Travel Tech India 2022 brought together leading industry figures and international exhibitors from various segments of MICE, leisure, business and travel technologies.

The virtual B2B events, hosted on ITB Community in Asia from April 5-7, provided key insights and strategies to lead the industry, primarily in the Indian and South Asian markets, towards recovery and growth.

Key exhibitors at this year’s virtual show included Berlin Brandenburg Airport, Business Events Perth, German National Tourist Board, GIATA, Melia Hotels International, Spain National Tourist Board India, Radisson Blu Hoi An, Royal Commission for AlUla, Sarawak Tourism Board, Tourism New Zealand and Turismo de Portugal.

“The powerful keynote sessions at this year’s conference unveiled the biggest and most important issues in opening doors to travel, accelerating international recovery and ultimately ensuring that the travel, tourism and MICE become more inclusive and sustainable in the years to come,” said Katrina Leung. , Managing Director of Messe Berlin (Singapore), the organizer of ITB India, MICE Show India and Travel Tech India.

The conference sessions focused on the road to recovery, with industry experts sharing their insights on the future of travel markets in India and South Asia.

Agoda CEO John Brown answered the question, “What will be the key to traveling the world again?” He outlined what it takes to succeed as the industry moves forward to identify key game changers that will impact business models and plans for the future of the travel industry.

MICE Show India

This year’s MICE Show India kicked off with Mikael Ek, Managing Director of BCD Meetings & Events EMEA, exploring how to reinvent the future of MICE by introducing different ways of hosting meetings and events.

Travel Tech India explored innovations, initiatives and case studies from various industry profiles, including technology companies, hotels, OTAs and transport companies.
