AFT organizes its annual meeting Conference Share my lesson this year from March 21 to 24.
The event will include a large turnout from pre-K to college-level educators, specialist instructional support staff, paraprofessionals, parents and caregivers from around the world to engage with union members for professional development.
The conference has nearly 50 free webinars scheduled, covering a variety of relevant topics, including: building community and classroom engagement; current affairs, history and media literacy; diversity, equity and inclusion; social-emotional learning and mental health; and more! AFT Union President Randi Weingarten will deliver a keynote address on “The State of Public Education”. There will also be a teacher-led panel on how “teachers unite to end gun violence” and a speech by US Congresswoman Jahana Hayes on the “freedom to teach honestly” in public schools. .
The conference also includes a personal care giveaway, where registered attendees have the opportunity to win one of three personal care packages, ranging from $50 to $159 in prizes!
