Peloton Homecoming 2022 dates announced – May 13-14 as a virtual event

Update 2 – The Homecoming 2022 page has been relaunched.

Update – Shortly after this article was published, Peloton took down the page. Some people see the new reunion page, others are redirected to the 2021 blog. Expect it to be relaunched soon – but the details should remain the same.

Peloton has released a save the date for Homecoming 2022! The annual celebration will take place on May 13 and 14 and will be entirely virtual for the second year in a row.

The landing page description states:

It’s here, Platoon! And this year’s Homecoming is entirely virtual so our entire global community (over 6 million of you) can join in the celebration.

We’ve planned two days of epic live classes on our platform, as well as inspiring panel discussions and exciting announcements that we’ll be hosting here at Stay tuned for the lineup reveal.

Members can already register to attend and share what they would like to experience at this year’s Homecoming. Note that you must consent to receive emails (and text messages, if you choose to provide your phone number) regarding the event in order to submit your RSVP. Registration is free.

Peloton plans to release the schedule of events (lineup and panels) around mid-April, and the list of Peloton Homecoming 2022 special classes in early May.

If you’re new to Peloton or unfamiliar with Homecoming, it’s an annual weekend celebration for the Peloton community that includes special classes, events and – pre-pandemic – get-togethers. instructors and a big party in New York. 2021 Homecoming also took place virtually, but featured more similar programming to previous years. 2020 Homecoming has been canceled and replaced with a virtual “Together We Go Far” weekend. Before being renamed Homecoming in 2019, this celebration was previously known as “Home Rider Invasion”. The first official Home Rider Invasion (HRI) took place in 2016.

2021 Homecoming was free for all members, and the weekend featured 88 special classes and 13 panel events. Of particular note was former CEO and Founder John Foley’s keynote, which included many announcements of new features and products. We might expect a similar speech this year from new CEO Barry McCarthy; however, Peloton has yet to announce any details on 2022 Homecoming beyond the date. This will usually happen closer to the event, and we’ll keep our eyes peeled for any information on what this year’s celebration might include.

The Financial Times first revealed the dates for this year’s reunion this morning, along with a host of other newsworthy articles from their reports and interviews. Their sources say Peloton Rower could be announced at Homecoming this year, if not before.
