Paelon Memorial Hospital launches virtual community for women | June 18

Paelon Memorial Hospital, one of the nation’s leading private healthcare providers, today announced the launch of a virtual community for women, The Village, to meet and discuss various aspects of life as they relate to their health and give them the opportunity to deliberate on health and social issues that are rarely discussed. The group will dispel popular myths about women’s health in society.

The community is holding its inaugural meeting with a webinar scheduled for Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 10 a.m.

The session aims to bring together women from all walks of life and healthcare professionals to analyze a prominent, yet under-discussed, topic affecting women – postpartum depression.

Themed “The Reality of Postpartum Depression,” The Village will cede its virtual floor to renowned health practitioners, including Dr. Gbonjubola Abiri, Consultant Psychiatrist and Lecturer – MBBS, MMP, FWACP; Dr Olusola AbodunrinConsultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist – MBBS, FWACS, FMCOG; Erimma Nwanmah, Registered Nurse and Midwife, Paelon Memorial Hospital; and Onovughakpo Sonia Fajusigbea change maker who likes to have an impact.
