UTICA — A “virtual meet and greet” with candidates vying for the 22nd congressional district, hosted by the Mohawk Valley Alliance of Chambers of Commerce and Affiliate Partners, will take place at noon on Wednesday, August 3.
“The purpose of this event is twofold, for candidates to get to know the voters of the 22nd arrondissement, and for voters to get to know them,” according to the MV Alliance announcement.
“Each candidate will have up to 10 minutes to introduce themselves and briefly discuss their platform. There are six candidates vying for this seat and five of them will be participating in the August 3 event,” the announcement from the Mohawk Valley Alliance of Chambers of Commerce added.
Participating candidates include:
- Steve Wells;
- Chol Majok;
- Brandon Williams;
- Sarah Klee Hood; and
- A sixth contestant, Francis Conole, is not scheduled to participate in the virtual event, the announcement adds.
