LGBTQ API Movement Virtual Event

The National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund is partnering with the National Queer Asian Pacific Islander Alliance (NQAPIA) and San Diego Pride to host the 2nd Annual State of the LGBTQ API Movement Live Virtual Event on May 24 at 3P PT / 6P ET via YouTube. Tiffany Tran, Sr. Legislative Manager at the National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund said, “Please join me for our second annual State of the LGBTQ API Movement to discuss a multitude of topics that affect the LGBTQ API community, including our Queer the Vote campaign, reproductive justice, equality law, LGBTQ youth and anti-trans bills rolling across the country. We have an amazing set of panelists with deep knowledge and experience to make this event a great one. Speakers include San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria, California State Assemblyman Evan Low, and Hawaii State Assemblyman Adrian Tam. Panelists include Sasha Neha Ahuja – Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Kenrick Ross – National Queer API Alliance, Alex Del Rosario – National Center for Transgender Equality, Nicholas Machuca – Equality Florida & Tiffany Tran – The National LGBTQ Task Force Action Fund. American Sign Language interpretation services have been confirmed for this virtual event and additional accessibility accommodations, including English transcription and visual description of content services, can be arranged with advance notice.
