Illinois residents will have the opportunity on Wednesday, May 4and to participate in a free virtual session with the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America. Communications director Chris Schneider said this session is for anyone who has dealt with a loved one with Alzheimer’s disease, who is in the early stages or who wants to plan for the future as a precaution. . Either way, there will be comfort and information.
AUDIO: So we’re going to have a few different sessions. One of them is going to talk about pre-planning; and getting things like wills and estates and financial and legal matters. We’re going to have another session on different capacities and legal documents. Next, we’re also going to ask a caregiver to give her perspective on caring for her mother with Alzheimer’s disease and talk about different lessons she learned.
