Bellevue launches a second virtual community game

From spring to summer with the Great Bellevue treasure hunt from May 28 to June 20

Back by popular demand, the Great Bellevue Scavenger Hunt returns to give Bellevue enthusiasts a chance to spend the summer having fun all over town. Join the “Spring into Summer” edition to compete with friends, family and neighbors in fun challenges from Memorial Day weekend until the first day of summer on June 20.

Scavenger Hunt is a virtual game played on a mobile device using the free Goose Chase app. A shareable flyer contains more details and a QR code to download the app. The game offers families and friends a safe and fun way to explore the homes, neighborhoods and town of Bellevue by completing challenges to earn points and compete against other teams. Participants will also have the chance to win prizes.

Participants can download the free app and register for the game now. Once you download the app, you will receive a notification when the game officially begins with the first challenge on May 28 at 8 a.m. The game will end on June 20 at 10 p.m. Players can rejoin the game and catch up on previous challenges at any time. time during the game period.

Teams earn points by answering trivial questions or taking photos or videos in order to complete challenges. Challenges vary, but can include exploring local parks, spring cleaning at home, showcasing your neighborhood, saving the planet with eco challenges, sharing old Bellevue memories, or even making a activities with your pets!

To participate:

  1. Download the free GooseChase app from any app store on your mobile device or by clicking the download link in the game’s information leaflet.
  2. Create an account or log in as a guest. Only one account is required per team.
  3. Enter the game code BELLPLAY or search for “Spring into Summer: Great Bellevue Scavenger Hunt Returns” using the search bar in the app.
  4. Select or create your team. Teams can have one member or multiple people.
  5. Once in the app, you will accept a security waiver and photo to participate in the game.
